The Life-Event Physical is a new service offered at The Little Clinic for when life events such as adoption, citizenship, insurance certification, pre-employment, professional licensure, etc. require a focused physical exam for eligibility. Similar to sports physicals for youth, Life-Event Physicals are limited (not comprehensive) exams. They should not replace an annual physical exam.
What does a Life-Event Physical involve?
When undergoing life events that require a limited physical exam, you may receive a form for the healthcare provider to complete during this physical. It is important to bring this form and any other related information with you to the clinic. Your provider will assess your current health status, review your health history, allergies and medication history, perform a limited physical examination and complete the required paperwork.
